Clinton J. Roberts has been awarded
“Gold”
for Best Criminal Defense Mitigation expert
by the CT Law Tribune for 2012
Clinton J. Roberts has lectured before county, state and national bar associations regarding mitigation in criminal cases, sentencing and prison advocacy and other criminal justice and related public policy issues. He was selected as a panel member for the Connecticut Bar Association Criminal Division, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Clint has been approved in the United States District Courts for the 2nd and 3rd Circuits to assist in providing mitigating expertise in cases under the Criminal Justice Act (CJA).
Mr. Roberts is a member of the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (National Association of Mitigation Specialists and Sentencing Advocates); and an associate member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. He is also a member of The Sentencing Project in Washington D.C. and a volunteer for the Connecticut Innocence Project.
In 1997 Clint was a contributing editor of the Connecticut Prisoner’s Rights Manual (1997, ed.)
